This new construction home was built for low energy, with spray foam insulation throughout, LED Lighting & Energy efficient appliances The design goal was to provide sufficient battery storage & solar panels to cover the most important loads during a long-duration outage. 2 Sol-Ark 15 KW Inverters and 36 American-made solar panels support the 2 200amp breaker panels. 34 KW-hrs of Maintenance free, 10 Year Warranty Homegrid batteries and a 24 KW Propane backup generator gives the customer the ability to be "off-grid" for a very extended outage in the deepest of winter when solar production is lower.
